& most best friends survive middle school together & experience freshman year of high school. they're there for the first kiss & then the first heartbreak. they're there for the sweet sixteen & the drivers test that seems to determine all. they're there for prom & for graduation senior year. they're there from the point where we become young adults until the point where they watch us become adults & go on with our lives to accomplish new things. they're there for you. & sometimes no matter how much you wish your best friend could be there, they cant. it's the ultimate unfairness & cruelty of life, but nonetheless, it's there. however, deep down you know that if she could be there, she would. deep down, i know that. that no matter the distances, she's there for me. & that, in its simplicity, is why i love her
